The new laser printers have an overall standard paper
capacity of 600 cut sheets, 500 from the paper tray and
100 from the by-pass, expandable to 2,600 cut sheets.
They manage paper weights of up to 220 g/m2 (from the
by-pass) and a variety of formats to ensure maximum
versatility for a full range of user needs and support for
heavy workloads, depending on workplace requirements.
The PG L 2140 – 2145 – 2150 can be fitted with up to
4 optional paper trays (each with a capacity of 500 cut
sheets) or with a single tray plus stand offering a total
capacity of 2,000 cut sheets.
The PG L 2145 – 2150 can also be equipped with an
external tray (PT-320), to handle up to 250 cut sheets
with weights of up to 220 g/m2.
The use of high-quality long-life consumables ensures
excellent results, while boosting productivity, minimising
running and maintenance costs and cutting environmental
impact through reduced CO2 emissions.
Waste materials are kept to a minimum thanks to a drum
and development unit for up to 500,000 pages (for the
PG L 2145- 2150) and a toner for up to 25,000 printed
pages (for the PG L 2150). The standard duplex for
front/back printing cuts paper consumption and waste,
and optimises filing space.
The new PG L 2140 – 2145 – 2150 print at speeds of
40 ppm, 45 ppm and 50 ppm respectively, with a real
resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi and very low
first-page-out time, of between 15 and 20 seconds.
Access to machine functions is assisted by the 5-line
display with alphanumeric keypad, where users can
directly set print parameters and access stored
documents via passwords.
Another functionality to speed up operations is direct
printing from a pendrive in various formats: PDF (V1.7),
TIFF, JPG and XPS (with memory expansion).
To meet new market trends and enhance the operability
of the new black/white printers, the IB-51 wireless
option supports on-the-move printing from tablets
or smartphones.
